XTB free shares in the UAE: 10 Emaar shares with promo code IITW

If you open an XTB account from the UAE through our link, you can receive 10 free Emaar Properties shares as a new client. The offer runs from 16 October 2026 to 1 April 2027 (or until 4,000 rewards are given out) and it only applies to accounts opened with XTB's mainland entity, the one regulated by the CMA. Below we explain the conditions, where to enter our promo code IITW and why the DFSA-regulated XTB entity in the DIFC does not take part.
Quick summary: open a real XTB account through our link, accept the promotion terms in the XTB app, deposit at least USD 500 (about AED 1,840) and buy one stock or ETF, all within 15 days of opening the account. XTB credits 10 Emaar shares to your account within 3 business days.
What is the XTB free shares offer?
XTB is a Warsaw-listed broker with more than 2.9 million clients worldwide. In the UAE it runs the "Free Share" programme through XTB Financial Services LLC, its Dubai mainland company licensed by the Capital Market Authority (CMA, the renamed Securities and Commodities Authority). The reward is 10 full shares of Emaar Properties, the Dubai developer behind Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM). The shares are bought by XTB and transferred to your account, so you own them outright and can hold or sell them.

How to claim the 10 free Emaar shares
Every deadline below counts from the day you open the account, so the simplest approach is to do the whole process in one sitting:
- Open a real XTB account through our link. It lands on the CMA-regulated site (xtb.com/sca-en), which is the entity that runs the offer. Complete the identity verification with your Emirates ID or passport.
- Accept the promotion's terms and conditions inside the XTB mobile app within 15 days. This consent can only be given in the app, so do it even if you plan to use xStation on desktop.
- Deposit at least USD 500, or the equivalent in AED, within 15 days. The deposit only counts once the money is credited and your account is fully activated.
- Buy at least one stock or ETF (a real share, not a CFD) within the same 15 days. The order has to be executed and show up in your trading history. Pending, cancelled or rejected orders do not count, and neither do CFD trades.
- Wait for the shares. XTB credits the 10 Emaar shares to your main account within 3 business days of meeting all the conditions.
The promotion's landing page mentions a deposit "of any amount" in its FAQ, but the terms and conditions, which prevail, set the minimum at USD 500. Deposit at least USD 500 to be safe.
Where do you enter the promo code IITW?
Our XTB promo code is IITW and it goes in on the very first screen of the sign-up form, under the email field. We tested the form in November 2026 and the code is accepted by the CMA entity:
- Open our link and click "Create account".
- Check that Your country, top right, shows United Arab Emirates. If it shows another country, pick the UAE and confirm the branch change. With another country selected, the same form opens an account with XTB International Limited, the group's Belize entity, which is not part of the free shares offer.
- Click "Add code" next to "Do you have a referral code?", type IITW and click "Apply". The field locks with the code in it.
- Fill in your email and password and continue with the verification.

The code has to go in on this screen, there is no later step to add it. The free shares themselves do not depend on the code: they are XTB's own welcome offer for every eligible new client of the CMA entity. The code links your account to BrokerMatch, which is how we fund the site at no cost to you, and it is also how the registration is attributed to our campaign.
CMA or DFSA: why only one XTB entity gives free shares
XTB has two regulated companies in the UAE, and the free shares offer belongs to just one of them:
- XTB Financial Services LLC (CMA): the mainland company, based at One Central in the Dubai World Trade Centre. It held a Category 5 licence (marketing and introducing only) since 2024 and received Category 1 and Category 2 licences from the CMA in April 2026, which let it open accounts, hold client money and execute trades itself. Its website advertises 11,700+ instruments.
- XTB MENA Limited (DFSA): the company in the Dubai International Financial Centre, licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (licence F006316) since July 2021. Its website advertises 4,400+ instruments and shows no free shares banner.
The terms and conditions settle the question: the organiser is XTB Financial Services LLC and an "Account" is defined as an account opened with that company. The DIFC is a separate jurisdiction with its own regulator and its own conduct of business rules, so a promotion run by the mainland entity does not extend to XTB MENA. Each company has to approve and run its own marketing under its own regulator. XTB has not published a reason for leaving the DFSA entity out, but the timing offers a practical explanation. Until April 2026 the mainland entity could only market XTB's services and new UAE clients were onboarded by XTB MENA, which is where the previous Emaar giveaway of October 2025 ran. Since the Category 1 licence, XTB opens new mainland accounts directly with the CMA company and its welcome offers have moved there too.
In practice, the entity is chosen in the region and language selector on xtb.com. For the UAE you can pick Arabic or English for each of the two companies and the site warns that changing the option also changes the regulator. Our link already lands on the CMA site, so you only need to check that "Your country" shows United Arab Emirates and that the footer of the sign-up page names XTB Financial Services LLC and the CMA.

The two entities also differ in what you get as a client. XTB MENA operates under the DFSA rulebook, which caps retail leverage on CFDs at 1:30. The CMA entity's product range is wider and, as the T&Cs put it, includes dealing in securities on international markets and OTC derivatives. If you already have an account with XTB MENA, you do not qualify: the offer excludes anyone who had a real account with any XTB Group company in the 12 months before 16 October 2026.
What the 10 Emaar shares are worth
XTB states that the reward is intended to have a market value below USD 50 at the time it is allocated, and that it may swap Emaar for another listed company of similar value if the price moves too far or the shares become unavailable. Emaar shares trade on the DFM in dirhams, so the value in your account will move with the share price every trading day.
Once credited, the shares are yours. You can keep them and receive Emaar's dividends, or sell them. The reward cannot be exchanged for cash directly, which in practice only means you have to sell the shares on the market to turn them into money. Standard XTB fees apply to that sale and to the qualifying trade (see below).
Costs to keep in mind
XTB does not charge anything for the reward itself. The costs that can apply around it, according to the fee page of the CMA entity (checked November 2026), are:
- Stock and ETF commission: 0% up to EUR 100,000 of turnover per month, then 0.2% with a EUR 10 minimum. Your qualifying trade will almost certainly be commission-free.
- Currency conversion: 0.5% when you trade an asset in a currency other than your account currency. This applies if you fund in AED or USD and buy, for example, a European ETF.
- Inactivity fee: EUR 10 per month if you make no trade for 365 days.
- Deposits and withdrawals: free.
The terms also warn against trading only to get the reward without weighing the risk and cost of the trade. The sensible approach is to use the qualifying trade to buy something you would hold anyway, for instance a broad ETF, rather than a random stock.
Who is not eligible
XTB can refuse or withdraw the reward in the following cases, all taken from the terms and conditions:
- You had a real account with XTB or any XTB Group company in the 12 months before 16 October 2026.
- You already received a promotion or free shares from any XTB Group company.
- You are taking part in another XTB promotion at the same time. Joining this one cancels your progress in the other.
- You opened more than one account or used more than one identity to get a second reward. One reward per person applies, regardless of the number of accounts or sub-accounts.
- The 4,000 rewards ran out before you met the conditions. Meeting them does not guarantee the shares once the limit is reached.
Any tax on the shares is your responsibility in your country of tax residence. The UAE has no personal income tax, so for most residents this is a non-issue, but expats with tax obligations elsewhere should check their own rules. If the shares do not arrive, write to xtbsupport@xtb.ae or use the complaint form in the app.
A quick word on XTB in the UAE
XTB has been in Dubai since 2021 and runs two offices, one in the DIFC and one at One Central. UAE clients get commission-free stocks and ETFs (within the EUR 100,000 monthly limit), fractional shares, Investment Plans for automatic ETF investing, CFDs on forex, indices and commodities, plus the xStation platform in English and Arabic. The main drawbacks are the 0.5% currency conversion fee and the absence of bonds and options. For the full breakdown of fees, products and safety, read our XTB review.
Bottom line
The XTB free shares offer is one of the more generous welcome deals in the UAE right now: 10 real Emaar shares, worth up to USD 50 at allocation, for opening an account, depositing USD 500 and making one stock or ETF trade within 15 days. The catch is the entity. Only accounts with XTB Financial Services LLC, the CMA-regulated mainland company, qualify, so make sure you register on the CMA site and not on the DFSA one. Our link takes you straight there, and the IITW code goes in the "Add code" field on the first screen.
Offer terms last verified: 6 November 2026. XTB can change or end the promotion at any time, so confirm the live terms in the app before you deposit.
