Events Calendar

iFX EXPO Dubai 2026

The world's largest B2B online trading expo returned to Dubai in February 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (10 February was the welcome party; the exhibition itself ran 11 - 12 February). Check the organiser's site for 2027 dates. iFX EXPO brings together brokers, fintech companies, liquidity providers, and investors from around the world. It's primarily industry-focused, but a great networking opportunity if you're serious about the trading and investing space.

Global FinEXPO & Summit Dubai 2026

Rescheduled from April, Global FinEXPO & Summit Dubai 2026 takes place on 21 - 22 October 2026 at The Ritz Carlton, DIFC, Dubai. This two-day summit covers banking, insurance, wealth management, fintech, and digital currencies. A good option if you want a broad overview of the financial services landscape in the region.

Money Expo Abu Dhabi 2026

The second edition of Money Expo Abu Dhabi was postponed from April and took place on 8 - 9 July 2026 at the ADNEC Centre. One of the largest online trading events in the UAE, covering forex, crypto, fintech, and investing. Worth the trip to Abu Dhabi if you're interested in the trading world.

Forex Expo Dubai 2026

The largest forex event in the Middle East returns on 22 - 23 September 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, across Halls 1 - 6. Now in its ninth edition, it is confirmed to be going ahead as scheduled with 250+ exhibitors and 150+ speakers. Aimed at both retail and institutional traders, the expo features seminars, panel discussions, and networking opportunities across the forex, crypto, and fintech industries.

SimplyFI community

SimplyFI - the UAE's main personal finance and index investing community - is the place to connect with like-minded expat investors. Note that its old Meetup group is dormant (its own description says so, and the last event listed there was in 2019) and the SimplyFI meetup calendar currently shows "no event planned at the moment". Activity has moved to the SimplyFI Facebook group, which is where SimplyFI now directs members.
